Newly Improved Resources (at the bottom of every page!)
Did you know that the earliest flagpoles were simply the straightest tree a person could find stripped of its branches and leaves with the flag attached at the top? Today advances in the manufacturing process for extruding aluminum has led to the prominence of the aluminum flag pole. Aluminum flag poles are less expensive than steel and have become widely used around the world. Other flagpole materials are fiberglass, steel and wood but the most popular by far is aluminum.

Q & A Time: I have a ground set flag pole. What size flag do I need?
The general rule of thumb is that the length of the flag should be 1/4 the height of the flag pole. So, if you have a 20 ft. flag pole, a 3 ft. x 5 ft. flag works great.
