Spring and Summer 2015 Calendar for North Little Rock
Everyone loves holidays, North Little Rock has tons of holiday events planned for the whole family for spring and summer 2015.
May 11-17: The 9th Annual Little Rock Film Festival will have venues on both sides of the Arkansas River. Each spring, the twin cities of Little Rock and North Little Rock play host to showcases of the best international films: in narrative, documentary and short formats. Every film in competition makes its Arkansas premiere, and many are regional or world premieres.

May 24: Memorial Day Picnic and Fireworks: USS Razorback
Come watch the fireworks from the best spot in central Arkansas: aboard USS Razorback! Your ticket includes dinner with hot dogs, hamburgers and side dishes; water and soft drinks, and the best seat in the house for the downtown fireworks. A donation cash bar will be available from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. The fireworks will begin around 9 p.m.
All proceeds will benefit the Arkansas Inland Maritime Museum and the USSVI Razorback Base. Tickets are tax-deductible. Event begins at 6 p.m. at the Arkansas Inland Maritime Museum located at 120 Riverfront Park Drive, North Little Rock. Phone: (501) 371-8320
May 25 & July 4: Free seating at Dickey-Stephens Park for all holiday firework displays. The concessions will also be open.
Located right on the Arkansas River, you get both an excellent view and comfortable seating for the whole family. This is a great way to catch all the spring and summer 2015 fireworks displays!
July 4: Pops on the River, presented by the Arkansas Democrat-Gazetteand sponsored by Landers FIAT, will take place Friday, July 4, in downtown Little Rock. In its 31st year, the
annual event has expanded to include more activities, additional hours, bigger fireworks show and a larger event site.
This free community event is the largest Fourth of July event in the state as more than 30,000 are drawn downtown to the events surrounding Pops on the River. This year’s benefiting charity is Our House Children’s Programs.
Pops on the River is also sponsored in part by the Little Rock Convention and Visitors Bureau, Chick-fil-A, Arkansas’ FlagandBanner.com, Hiland Dairy and Landers FIAT.
