Bermuda's flag was adopted in 1910. It consists of a Red Ensign featuring the UK flag in the canton and Bermuda's coat of arms. The coat of arms depicts a lion holding a shield that pictures a shipwreck and the inscription reads Quo Fata Farunt
, or "Whither the Fates Carry."
This outdoor flag is made from durable 200-Denier nylon that has been treated to resist fading. The flag is finished with a sturdy white canvas heading and grommets. Its image is dyed, single-sided, and reversed on the back.
