Bolivia Government Flag with Pole Hem and Fringe

The Bolivian flag was adopted in 1851. It consists of three horizontal stripes of red, yellow, and green, from the top down. The red represents the blood that was shed defending Bolivia. Yellow stands for the country’s wealth and resources. Green symbolizes the wealth of nature and hope for the future. The national version includes the Bolivian coat of arms.

This flag is made from durable 200-Denier nylon that has been treated to resist fading. The flag is finished with a 3 in., flannel-lined pole hem with Velcro hang tab and bordered with gold rayon fringe. Its image is dyed, single-sided, and reversed on the back. This flag is suitable for indoor or parade use.

This flag is used by Bolivia’s government and displayed at the U.N. Headquarters in New York.
