The Botonee Cross Ornament for In-Ground Flagpoles is made of heavy-gauge cast aluminum. The flagpole topper has a long lasting gold anodized finish. The Botonee cross gets its historical significance from the American Civil War. It was worn by Confederate sympathizers in Maryland during and after the war. A jamb nut is provided for use in firmly securing the ornament to the truck assembly.
