The Chad Economy Polyester Flag is made from economy polyester. Made in China. Measures 2 ft. x 3 ft.
Chad’s flag was adopted in 1959 after gaining independence from France. In fact, this flags design is based on French flag. Its colors were inspired by the Pan-African colors, but green was changed to blue to avoid confusion with Mali’s flag. The blue in this flag stands for the sky, water, and hope. Yellow represents the sun and the deserts in the country’s north. Red represents unity, progress, and sacrifice. It also symbolizes the blood that was shed for this country.
