The Croatian flag combines the flag colors of Croatia's three constituent states: the Kingdom of Croatia, the Kingdom of Slavonia, and the Kingdom of Dalmatia. The coat of arms of Croatia is shown in the middle of the flag. Although the Croatian flag has been red, white, and blue tricolor since 1848, the current flag was adopted in 1990, preceding the Croatian constitution and independence from Yugoslavia.
This flag is made from durable 200-Denier nylon that has been treated to resist fading. The flag is finished with a 3 in., flannel-lined pole hem with Velcro hang tab and bordered with gold rayon fringe. Its image is dyed, single-sided, and reversed on the back. This flag is suitable for indoor or parade use.
This flag is used by Croatia's government and displayed at the U.N. Headquarters in New York.
