This flag represented a group of about one hundred minutemen from Culpeper, Virginia. In 1775 three hundred such minutemen, led by Colonel Stevens, assembled at Culpeper Court House and marched for Williamsburg. The words 'LIBERTY OR DEATH' were in large white letters on the breast of their hunting shirts.
The Culpeper Flag has been a popular flag for generations. The flag is offered in nylon or cotton. Each flag is finished with a white canvas heading and brass grommets.
Please Note: We recommend bringing cotton flags indoors before inclement weather hits to avoid color bleeding. The cotton flag uses larger grommets so we recommend the use of our Never Furls for hanging with your 1 in. diameter flagpole.
