The Eritrea Economy Polyester Flag is made from polyester in China. Measures 2 ft. x 3 ft. This single reverse flag is dyed and finished with strong canvas headings and brass grommets.
The Eritrean flag, adopted in 1995, uses the basic layout of the Eritrean People’s Liberation Front flag. Instead of a star, however, it employs the olive wreath from one of its earlier flags, used 1952-62. The olive wreath is a symbol of peace. The colors of the triangles are significant as well; green represents fertility and agriculture, red symbolizes the blood lost in the fight for freedom, and blue represents the Red Sea.
