Independent State of Samoa Flag

The Samoan flag was adopted in 1962 when it became independent of New Zealand. It bears the Southern Cross in its canton to represent its geographical position in the Southern hemisphere as well as the country's connection to New Zealand. This flag's red base stands for courage. The blue canton represents freedom, and the white of the stars symbolizes purity.

This outdoor flag is made from durable 200-Denier nylon that has been treated to resist fading. The flag is finished with a sturdy white canvas heading and grommets. Its image is dyed, single-sided, and reversed on the back.

This flag is used by Samoa's government and displayed at the U.N. Headquarters in New York.

Please Note: This flag is made to order. Please allow up to 2 weeks for shipping.
