Swaziland adopted this flag in 1968. Red stands for past battles, blue represents peace and stability, and yellow symbolizes the country’s resources. A shield and 2 spears dominate the center of the flag and represent protection from enemies. The shield is white and black to signify racial harmony and coexistence.
