Namibia adopted this flag in 1990. Red represents Namibia’s people, their heroism, and their determination to build a future for all. White stands for peace and unity, green symbolizes vegetation and natural resources, and blue represents the sky, the Atlantic Ocean, and Namibia’s precious water resources. The gold sun with 12 rays represents life and energy.
This flag is dyed on silky, lustrous rayon and is hemmed and mounted to a 10 in. black pole that includes a gold-painted spear. Base not included.
