Serbia adopted this flag in 2010. The tricolor is the ethnic flag of the Serbian people. This flag features the Pan-Slavic colors with Serbia’s coat of arms. The coat of arms consists of a shield, topped with a crown, charged with a double-headed white eagle and Serbian cross. The eagle has been used since the Byzantine era and the Serbian cross has been used since the 12th century.
This flag is made from durable 200-Denier nylon that has been treated to resist fading. The flag is finished with a 3 in., flannel-lined pole hem with Velcro hang tab and bordered with gold rayon fringe. Its image is dyed, single-sided, and reversed on the back. This flag is suitable for indoor or parade use.
This flag is used by Serbia’s government and displayed at the U.N. Headquarters in New York.
