Sweden Flag

Sweden's flag was adopted in 1906, although blue and yellow have been used as Swedish colors since at least 1275. This flag features the Scandinavian cross, a symbol of Christianity used on many Scandinavian flags. One myth says that 12th century Swedish King Eric the Holy adopted this flag after seeing a golden cross in the sky as he landed on Finland during the First Swedish Crusade in 1157.

This outdoor flag is made from durable 200-Denier nylon that has been treated to resist fading. The flag is finished with a sturdy white canvas heading and grommets. Its image is dyed, single-sided, and reversed on the back.

This flag is used by Sweden's government and displayed at the U.N. Headquarters in New York.

Please Note: This flag is made to order. Please allow up to 2 weeks for shipping.
