The United Kingdom adopted this flag in 1801. It was designed by layering the cross of St. George (England's patron saint) over the cross of St. Patrick (Ireland's patron saint) and the Saltire of St. Andrew (Scotland's patron saint).
Choose from three materials - Nylon, Polyester, or Cotton.
- Nylon - Durable 200-Denier nylon that has been treated to resist fading. The flag is finished with a sturdy white canvas heading and grommets. Its image is dyed, single-sided, and reversed on the back.
- Polyester - Polyester single reverse flag is dyed and finished with strong canvas headings and brass grommets.
- Cotton - Durable cotton fabric and finished with sturdy canvas heading and brass grommets. The image is single sided and reversed on the back.
This flag is used by the United Kingdom's government and displayed at the U.N. Headquarters in New York.
