Description of Our Flag Materials
Heavy Cotton: Heavyweight cotton spun from sturdy 2-ply carded yarns. Vat dyed in limited colors. Fabric is most often used today when recreating an authentic historical look and feel of a time gone by.
Nylon: Describes flags made of 200 Denier SolarMax Nylon for outdoor or indoor use. Strong and durable, special parachute cloth treatment reduces sun and chemical deterioriation.
Cotton Sheeting: Selected heavy cotton sheeting, dyed for maximum appearance values. An exceptional buy for the budget minded. Used mainly for U.S. Flags and Decorations.
Poly Cotton Blend: A blend of polyester/cotton having a "hand" similar to heavy cotton sheeting. All printed 3x5 U.S. pattern - used for home flag sets.
Woven Polyester: 2-Ply, 100% woven, spun Polyester, this is the most durable flag material ever created. With the look of cotton, this material was engineered especially for industrial, commercial or institutional use or whereever severe climatic conditions exist.
Indoor Nylon: Describes flags made of 200 Denier SolarMax Nylon for indoor or parade use featuring flannel lined pole headings, Velcro tabs and Golden Yellow fringe.
Rayon: Lustrous silk-like material of Lightweight 70 Denier Nylon, Anco-dyed in brillant colors from 4x6 inches up through 24x36 inches.
Poly Cotton Blend: Popular stick-flag material made of 70% Polyester/30% Cotton. Color fast U.S. flags available in traditional spear tip or Saf-T-Ball style.
