King Kamehameha Day

On June 11th, 2007, thousands of people will gather on the northern tip of the Big Island of Hawaii to honor King Kamehameha I, the chief who united the Hawaiian Islands in 1795. Hawaii became the 50th state of the United States on August 21, 1959. Join in the celebration of this native Hawaiian holiday with some red, white, and blue.
