1975: Kerry McCoy started her door-to-door business with $400 and self-designed business cards. She soon switched to telemarketing due to rising gas prices.
1984: Arkansas Flag and Banner hired its first staff.
1989: Operations expanded from distributing American flags to include manufacturing of custom flags.
1992: Kerry purchased Taborian Hall, which became the new headquarters for Arkansas Flag and Banner.
1995: Adopting a “dot com” business model, Kerry bought a domain name and became the first flag retailer on the Internet.
2000: Arkansas Flag and Banner officially rebranded to FlagandBanner.com.
2001: Following the 9/11 terrorist attacks, Flag and Banner opened a gift shop to sell patriotic boutique goods.
2009: Kerry founded the nonprofit Friends of Dreamland to support renovations for the historic Dreamland Ballroom and Taborian Hall.
2014: The first issue of Brave Magazine was published.
2016: The first broadcast of Up in Your Business radio show/podcast.
2017: Kerry’s projects and business were rebranded under the umbrella Kerry McCoy Enterprises.
2020: Kerry McCoy Enterprises acquired OurCornerMarket.com
2020: Acquired About Flags, Inc., a Pennsylvania-based enterprise
2021: Acquired Freedom Flags and used the premises to open a branch location in Miami, FL.
